Tech Lead – Engineering with purpose

We're now looking for a Tech Lead who wants to play an important role in that journey.

About the role

As Tech Lead, you'll take technical ownership of I-care Online (ICO), one of Careium's core platforms. You'll work closely with developers, Product Owners, Architects and other Tech Leads to shape the technical direction of a platform that supports connected care solutions across Europe.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You'll make architectural decisions, improve engineering practices and help create alignment across teams while remaining close to the code. There is no formal people management responsibility, but you'll play an important role in supporting developers, driving technical discussions and creating shared ways of working.

You'll work closely with your team in Malmö and Vietnam while collaborating with Architects, Product Owners and other Tech Leads across the organisation. Together, you'll help ensure the platform continues to evolve in a scalable, secure and sustainable way while supporting the long-term technical direction of the product.

What you'll do

• Take technical ownership of one of Careium's core platforms
• Drive architectural and technical decisions that support long-term quality and scalability
• Improve code quality, maintainability, performance and security
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and fellow Tech Leads
• Create alignment across the extended engineering organisation, collaborating with teams in Malmö and Vietnam as well as Architects and Tech Leads across Careium
• Coach and support developers through technical leadership and collaboration

Who we're looking for

You may already be working as a Tech Lead, or perhaps you're a Senior Software Engineer or Lead Developer ready to take the next step in your career.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes ownership and likes collaborating with others to find the best solutions.

We believe you have:

• Strong experience developing in .NET
• Solid knowledge of MS SQL
• Experience working with complex software systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (AWS is a plus)
• An interest in software architecture and technical leadership
• The ability to build trust, influence decisions and create alignment across teams

Most importantly, you're comfortable making technical decisions, balancing short- and long-term priorities and helping others succeed.
