Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Tech Lead to join our team in Luleå. This is a key role where you will take ownership of software architecture, code quality, and development processes for our device management system in the cloud.

You will work closely with product owners, development and test teams in Luleå, and with external development teams in Vietnam. Your main mission is to drive technical excellence, ensure scalable and modern architecture, and oversee the quality of deliverables from both internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure software architecture and code quality for our Device Management System (.NET platform, Microsoft environment).
• Support and guide external development teams in Vietnam with technical decisions, structures, and implementations.
• Drive improvements towards scalability, modernization, and efficiency in software architecture.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and work according to a kanban-like workflow.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and other Careium teams to ensure alignment across solutions.
• Contribute to planning and execution of quarterly release cycles.

Who are you and what are your qualifications?

• Solid background in software development, preferably with experience in Microsoft environments.
• Previous experience in system/software architecture roles—you have held senior technical responsibilities before.
• Strong ability to review code and coach development teams.
• Experience in cloud transformation and an understanding of on-premises to cloud migrations is a plus.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for driving technical improvements—this role holds no budget responsibility but has strong technical influence.
