Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will support multiple teams and projects, helping us strengthen our data modelling, pipeline design, and warehousing strategies. You will play a crucial part in building a strong foundation for our long-term ambitions in analytics, AI, and data-driven development.

This is a horizontal role with broad influence across the organization—you will work closely with various engineering and product teams to break down silos, establish shared technical foundations, and drive a more integrated and efficient engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize data models for both MongoDB and SQL Server environments.
• Lead or support the development of ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple systems.
• Advise teams on replication strategies, data consistency, and access layer design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align around a shared, scalable data architecture.
• Contribute to platform-level initiatives involving OpenSearch, Big Data processing, and emerging technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Promote and implement best practices in governance and data lifecycle management.
• Assess, guide, and evolve the overall data architecture with a long-term, sustainable vision.

Who are you and what do you bring?

• Solid, practical experience in designing and optimizing data systems in comparable technical environments.
• Expertise in both MongoDB and SQL Server.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture, replication, and consistency models.
• A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working across teams and fostering shared solutions.
• A passion for building secure, scalable, and efficient systems.
• A proactive and strategic approach to technical challenges, combined with hands-on execution ability.
